Maya Lin in Conversation is a collaborative project by members of Women in Architecture and Design at Washington University, with Yulin being the organizer & editor in chief. The publication was printed 200 copies, in the permanent archive of Washington University Library and can be accessed here. The project invited artist and designer Maya Lin for a town hall on the intersection of art and architecture with students of Sam Fox School Design and Visual Arts at Washington University, St. Louis. The event culminated in a book that documents the conversation and reflects on the event.
Maya Lin in Conversation is hosted by Women in Architecture + Design, sponsored by Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts. The town hall was monitored by Professor of Practice Valerie Greer. Members who participated in the event include Jenny Li, Letao Zhang, Natasha Tabachnikoff, Elise Wang, Alexis Vidaurette, Ruth Blair Moyers and Yulin Peng. The booklet is designed by Ruth Blair Moyers, Kaitlyn Schwalber, Audrey Western and Irina Pavlova; it was edited by Yulin Peng and Natasha Tabachnikoff.
